The city of Los Altos is scheduled to begin reopening public facilities for in-person service Sept. 7.
Shortly following Santa Clara County’s initial shelter-in-place order last year, Los Altos closed its city facilities to the public, transitioning services to online or over-the-phone. The return to full service offers residents in-person attention with adjusted facility hours and new safety protocols.
The new city facility hours:
• City Hall, 1 N. San Antonio Road: 7:30 a.m. to noon and 1-4:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays
• Police Department, 1 N. San Antonio Road: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays
• Maintenance Service Center, 707 Fremont Ave.: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays (closed alternate Fridays)
