Two local men won accolades last week at the Silicon Valley Philanthropy Day 2011 Awards. Los Altos resident Bob Grimm, this year’s “Outstanding Philanthropist,” provided founding support to Downtown College Prep (a Town Crier Holiday Fund beneficiary).
He was honored for that work and other achievements in his decades of local volunteerism.
Los Altos Hills resident John Radford, honored as a “Distinguished Volunteer,” received recognition for his support of Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence.
El Camino Hospital featured as one of two “Outstanding Corporate Grantmakers.”
