Representatives from Bay Area law enforcement and fire departments are scheduled to convene Thursday (April 23) morning in Palo Alto to recognize and honor staff of Stanford Health Care, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and the Stanford Hospital’s pediatric emergency department for their work during the coronavirus pandemic.
Organizations planning to demonstrate their gratitude include the Los Altos Police Department, the Mountain View Police Department, the Mountain View Fire Department and the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, according to a Sheriff’s Office press release. Members of the public are welcome to participate, but they must practice proper physical distancing and wear face coverings.
The event begins at 6 a.m. and will run until approximately 7:15 a.m. Gather at one of the three locations: Stanford Hospital, 500 Pasteur Drive; Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, 725 Welch Road; or Stanford’s pediatric emergency department, 900 Quarry Road Extension.
