Santa Clara County firefighters today (Dec. 6) extinguished a two-alarm blaze on the 600 block of Coral Court in Los Altos.
The fire, which started in the morning, was put out by 12:14 p.m., according to department spokeswoman Luisa Rapport. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Rapport added that fire crews remained on the scene for “extensive” cleanup. PG&E also dispatched crews to the residence, located off Springer Road.
The fire prompted the closure of Springer at Arroyo Road, where officers from the Los Altos Police Department directed traffic. Springer reopened just after 2 p.m.
