A protest formed outside of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (Midpen) offices at 5050 West El Camino Real in Los Altos March 26 after Midpen officially filed for eviction of the Girouards from their family home at the foot of Rhus Ridge trail, according to Marianne Schroeder, who organized a petition to save the family home.
Midpen officials previously told the Town Crier that “Midpen would like to resolve this amicably and is hopeful a fair, reasonable and mutually agreeable solution will be reached.”
