Small hotel eyed for corner of Main, San Antonio

Members of the Los Altos Architecture and Site Review Committee heard plans June 30 from developer Abigail Ahrens for a new three-story, 19-unit boutique hotel at the corner of Main Street and San Antonio Road in downtown Los Altos. The former gas station site, considered a gateway to the downtown, has been vacant for years. The project received a mostly positive response from the committee. The hotel project, named, “Enchante,” is scheduled to go before the planning commission on Aug. 5.
