Mountain View Los Altos Union High School District officials are moving forward after the board of trustees voted unanimously to approve the discussed reductions to the 2010-2011 budget. The board discussed Superintendent Barry Grove’s edits to the Budget Advisory Committee’s suggested cuts. On top of continuing $1.2 million of cuts implemented for the 2009-2010 budget, the board is looking toward slashing another $1.6 million to balance the district budget. The trustees are scheduled to vote on a final draft of the budget at its June 21 meeting.
