Both the Los Altos School District and the Mountain View Los Altos Union High School Board of Trustees are scheduled Monday to discuss and possibly ultimately determine their budget cuts for the 2010-2011 school year. High school district board members will review the 25 recommended cuts, slated to save the district approximately $1.6 million. The elementary school district board will continue revising its budget plan, expected to save the district approximately $1.7 million. Both boards could give district officials the green light to work the cuts into final budget documents.

The high school district meets 7 p.m. at 1299 Bryant Ave. in Mountain View. The elementary school district meets 7 p.m. at 201 Covington Road in Los Altos.
