Los Altos Stage Company’s production of “Tiny Beautiful Things,” its first series of live performances at Bus Barn Theater in more than a year, is slated to run through Oct. 3.

Based on the book by Cheryl Strayed (author of the best-selling “Wild”) and adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos, the play kicks off LASC’s 2021-2022 “Back in the Barn” season.

Directed by Jeffrey Lo, “Tiny” is a play about reaching when you’re stuck, healing when you’re broken and finding the courage to take on the questions that have no answers. The story follows Sugar, an online advice columnist who uses her personal experiences to help the real-life readers who pour their hearts out to her.

The cast includes Judith Miller, Zaya Kolia, Rosanna Wyant and Francisco Rodriguez.

Showtimes are 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays. Bus Barn Theater is located at 97 Hillview Ave.

Five-ticket Stage Passes are $150 and single tickets are $20-$40. A Stage Pass works like a season subscription, with additional flexibility. It includes five vouchers that can be exchanged for tickets to a patron’s production(s) of choice.
