Three performances of Los Altos Stage Company’s annual Follies fundraiser are scheduled 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Bus Barn Theater, 97 Hillview Ave.

Proceeds from the musical parody of life and politics, produced and directed by Vicki Reeder, will enable LASC to support local arts and youth educational programming.

Reeder said she asks how the performance could get crazier each year, and notes that the shenanigans do not disappoint.

“We find ourselves in the oddest of times, with an ex-president facing multiple criminal indictments, a Congress self-destructing before our eyes and locals on the warpath over a dog park,” she said. “The times cry out for more music parody.”

In addition to Reeder, the local cast includes Archana Appanna, Gordon Abraham, Gary DeMoss, Rhea Feldman, Dina Jacobson, Kathy Traficanti-Holleb, Kelly Sims and Rod Sinks.

Master of ceremonies Mike Kasperzak will be joined at each performance by guests from the community. Sharing duties with Kasperzak at Thursday’s performance will be Shannon Geary of Los Altos Community Investments and Scott Hunter of the Los Altos Village Association. Friday’s guest emcees will be Courtenay Corrigan, former mayor of Los Altos Hills, and Larry Chu Jr. of Chef Chu’s restaurant. For the final performance on Saturday, U.S. Rep. Anna Eshoo will share emcee duties.

Tickets are $85 per person for Thursday’s show, $125 per person for Friday and $160 per person for Saturday. The Friday and Saturday performances include a pre- and post-show reception at the Los Altos History Museum featuring wine, appetizers, desserts and a silent auction.
