Stefanie Midlock, the daughter of Eugene and Penelope Midlock of Los Altos, is one of more than 370 Pacific Lutheran University students participating in 25 study-away programs around the world this month. Midlock, a PLU senior and a graduate of Los Altos High School, is studying in Antarctica.
PLU’s Wang Center for International Programs coordinates seven groups, one on each of the seven continents.
For ongoing information, visit www.studyaway.plu.edu, a real-time online journal chronicling the academic and cultural experiences of the students.
