The city of Los Altos is hosting a community workshop for a proposed downtown park noon to 2 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 16) at the proposed site, parking plaza no. 2 at Second Street.
City officials are inviting residents, businesses and visitors to participate in the workshop as part of the initial visioning phase for the proposed downtown park with parking project.
The workshop will include:
• A project update and summary of feedback completed so far.
• An opportunity to share ideas and priorities.
• An opportunity to ask questions of the design team.
“These workshops are an opportunity for the community to provide early input on the vision for the park, before the city’s consultants begin developing conceptual design alternatives,” city officials said in a statement. “Additional community engagement will follow later this year once draft designs are ready for review and feedback.”
