The Los Altos Main and Woodland libraries are scheduled to be closed Tuesday for technology upgrades taking place at all Santa Clara County libraries. Residents may still return books in the outdoor book drop, but will not be able to enter the branches. Online services will also be down.
“Our Integrated Library System, what we use to check in and out materials, is getting both a software and hardware upgrade on the 23rd,” said Jane Cronkhite, Los Altos’ community librarian.
She said all libraries are scheduled to open the following day.
