3-story downtown building OK’d

The Los Altos Planning Commission June 3 unanimously approved the design review of a proposal which includes a new 40-foot tall, three-story residential structure with 48 condominium units located at 100 First St. in downtown Los Altos, which used to be the site of the downtown post office. Construction of the project will begin pending review and approval by the Los Altos City Council sometime this summer, according to James Walgren, assistant city manager.
