The Los Altos City Council Tuesday approved 4-1 public event sign standards for undeveloped commercial properties. Mayor David Casas cast the dissenting vote. “There could be unintended circumstances,” Casas said. The City Sign Ordinance Committee has scheduled a meeting today 6 p.m. at the City Council Chambers in City Hall. Consultant Attorney Randal Morrision will speak on constitutional issues and explain the regulations concerning signage around the city. Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting.
