The Women’s Club of St. Francis High School has scheduled its 16th annual holiday home tour, “Christmas at Our House, 2004,” in Los Gatos and Monte Sereno Dec. 2-4. The twilight tour and gala preview party begins at 5 p.m., Dec. 2. Homes will be open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Dec. 3 and 4.
More than 500 parents, students and alumni join to produce Christmas at Our House. Last year more than 2,000 people toured the festively decorated homes, contributing $120,000. This year’s proceeds are designated for the campaign for St. Francis High School.
Three spectacular homes in Los Gatos and Monte Sereno, varying in size from 9,000 to 13,000 square feet, have been selected for this year’s tour.
St. Francis student musicians and vocalists will entertain with seasonal music. Guests can enjoy a respite with complimentary tea and homemade baked goods, such as eggnog, hot cider, coffee and teas
The Christmas Gift Shoppe will offer treasures from around the world as well as from local artisans. Santa’s Workshop includes a selection of holiday items including a boy’s “off-to-college” basket, a bridal shower basket, stylized furniture and holiday ware to be won in a drawing at the end of the tour.
The “Twelfth Night” table setting, which includes a complete service for eight with china, crystal, flatware, linens and centerpiece valued at more than $5,000 will be awarded by a drawing.Drawings for the “Twelfth Night” table setting are $25 per ticket or $100 for five.
Drawings for Santa’s Workshop are $5 per ticket, $10 for three or $20 for seven.
Tickets for a catered luncheon may be purchased in advance for $20.
St. Francis parents Linda Graham and Michelle Barsanti are co-chairs of this year’s event.
Tickets to the preview party and twilight tour are $100.
The day tour, including tea, is $30 in advance, $40 at the door if tickets are available (there is a 10 percent discount for groups of 10 or more).
