In recognition of National Imagine a Day Without Water, the Los Altos History Museum has scheduled a Water Safety and Reliability Workshop 7-8:30 p.m. today at the museum, 51 S. San Antonio Road.

Offered in partnership with the city of Los Altos and California Water Service Co., the workshop is part of the emergency preparedness exhibition at the museum, “Our Community Prepares: Acts of Nature, Then and Now,” on display through Jan. 19.

“I am really excited for this emergency response exhibit because we can tell our story of what Cal Water does behind the scenes of an emergency, whether it be providing water for firefighters or maintaining water quality after an earthquake,” said Mark Lauricella, Cal Water’s interim customer service manager.

Although admission to the workshop is free, reservations are required.

To register for the exhibit, visit losaltoshistory.org/waterworkshop.
