St. Francis High School students and staff were told to shelter in place Monday after administrators received what Mountain View Police Public Information Officer Monica Leon said was a “suspicious” phone call.
“We made the decision after becoming aware of a possible threat that originated off campus. In alignment with our safety procedures, we immediately moved
students and staff indoors,” Principal Katie Teekell and School President Jason Curtis said in an email to parents.
They added that “The shelter-in-place was immediately lifted once we received confirmation from local authorities that the situation had been resolved and there was no ongoing concern for our campus.”
