NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIPUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Clerk of the Town of Los Altos Hills, State of California, has set after the hour of 7:00 P.M. THURSDAY, JULY 21, 2016 in the Council Chambers of Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California, as the time and place for a Public Hearing to consider approving annexation of approximately 8.48 acres of unincorporated land on Mora Glen Drive and Mora Drive to the Town of Los Altos Hills. The annexation area includes six properties (Assessor Parcel Numbers 331-14-017, 331-15-027, 027, 028, 029, 041 and 042). The annexation will allow property owners that are not already connected to the sanitary sewer system to obtain a sewer connection.
The City Council adopted a resolution introducing the annexation on June 16, 2016. The Council resolution, annexation exhibits, and file are available for review at the Office of the City Clerk at the Los Altos Hills Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California and may be reviewed at that location upon request.
Written opposition to this annexation may be filed by owners of land within the affected area or by registered voters in the affected area. Written opposition may be mailed to the City Clerk, Town of Los Altos Hills, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022 or delivered to the City Clerk at the Annexation Consideration Hearing on July 21, 2016. Written opposition may also be submitted by email to [email protected].
Unless written opposition of the annexation is received before the conclusion of the City Council proceedings on July 21, 2016, the City Council may waive further protest proceedings.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
AMENDING CHAPTER 1 OF TITLE 4 OF THE LOS ALTOS HILLS
MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO
EMERGENCY ORGANIZATION AND FUNCTION
1. SUMMARY
The Town of Los Altos Hills (“Town”) has introduced and proposes to adopt an Ordinance that will amend Chapter 1 of Title 4 of the Town of Los Altos Hills Municipal Code with regard to emergency organization and function. The amendments to the Town?s municipal code will result in better alignment of the Town?s emergency procedures and organization with the State?s Emergency Ordinance template as well as provide language that better supports the Disaster Service Worker Volunteer Program (DSWVP) and designates which Town officials will oversee the registration and activities of volunteers during an emergency. Adoption of this ordinance would further clearly delineate planning responsibilities, Disaster Council membership, and the order of succession to the position of Director of Emergency Services in the event of an emergency.
2. This Ordinance Summary was prepared pursuant to Government Code Section 36933, subdivision (c)(1). The City Council ordered preparation of this Ordinance Summary by the City Attorney.
This Ordinance was adopted on the 16th day of June 2016, and a certified copy of the full text, together with the names of the City Council members voting for and against the Ordinance, or otherwise voting, is posted in the Office of the City Clerk.
