Phyllis Morrison passed away peacefully in her home in West Linn, Oregon on May 3 at the age of 83.
Phyllis and her husband, Roy, were residents of Los Altos from 1964 to 1981. Phyllis was a member of the PEO Women’s Club (Chapter OZ), and was involved in many aspects of her daughter’s lives from Girl Scouts to PTA. Phyllis was also a parishioner at Christ Episcopal Church.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Roy Morrison who worked at SRI in Menlo Park. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine (Cathy) Morrison Paul, who graduated from Los Altos High in 1971. She is survived by her daughters Deborah (Debbie) Morrison Walinsky of West Linn, Oregon, and Barbara Morrison Schwarz of Vacaville, California. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Sarah Walinsky of Washington D.C. and Daniel (Danny) Walinsky of Santa Clara.The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
