Peek into the Past: 1954

The Los Altos Police Department’s 1954 safety campaign reminded residents that “Speed Kills” and to “Be Courteous.” Chief Ronald Renshaw is standing by the patrol cars opposite Gordon’s Fine Foods (now an office building) at the corner of First and Main.
