Mosquito fogging deemed effective

Santa Clara County Vector Control officials declared recent mosquito fogging in Los Altos and Mountain View a success Friday (Sept. 7).

All mosquitos trapped post-fogging tested negative for West Nile Virus and vector control registered an 80-percent reduction in mosquitos in the fogged area as compared to surrounding neighborhoods.
