Los Altos main and Woodland libraries are among Santa Clara County branch libraries scheduled for closure June 3 due to systems software upgrades.
The upgrades are scheduled to be implemented at all Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) locations from Sunday evening, May 31, to Thursday morning, June 4.
Library officials said all locations will be closed on June 3 “in order to facilitate the changes as quickly as possible.”
Library users will not have access to online library accounts and phone renewal of materials. However, users will be able to pick up holds, borrow and return items, use public computers and access the Wi-Fi network from May 31 to June 2.
According to library officials, the upgrades will include a fresh new look for SCCLD’s online library catalog and improved search functionality.
