Los Altos Hills election canceled

The Los Altos Hills City Council voted Aug. 23 to cancel the election and appoint the three nominees to the position of Los Altos Hills council members-elect. Courtenay Corrigan, John Harpootlian and incumbent Rich Larsen, running for three open seats on the council, will be installed 28 days after the Nov. 6 election. The appointments save the town approximately $20,000 in election costs, according to town officials.
