The Los Altos Library and the Financial Planning Association of Silicon Valley have scheduled the presentation “Spreading Wealth Through the Generations” 2-3:30 p.m. Monday (March 16) in the Program Room of the main library, 13 S. San Antonio Road.
The presentation is designed for those who may want to help their grandchildren financially without unpleasant surprises down the road.
Ariadne Horstman, Certified Financial Planner and member of the Financial Planning Association, will discuss the various methods of generational giving and how to distribute funds efficiently while avoiding costly mistakes. She will offer advice on ways to make financial gifts go the farthest without the burden of extra taxes.
