Katherine Marie Campodonico, 73, of Los Altos, California, passed away on March 1, 2026. Born on January 8, 1953 in Palo Alto to Edythe and Richard Campodonico. Katie attended St. Pius Catholic Elementary School, Woodside High School, and Whitworth College.
She was a beloved teacher in the Los Altos School District for 40 years. After retiring from teaching, she graduated from Bauman College as a holistic chef. She loved the SF Giants, fly fishing, the arts, theater, world travel, all things culinary, and her wonderful friends. But most of all she loved her sons Christopher and Michael.
Katie’s heart was filled with kindness and compassion which she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Katie is survived by her sons Christopher and Michael (Cameron), her siblings Rich (Lianne), Susan (Mark), Steve, Lisa (George), Margaret (Reynie), and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Richard, mother Edythe, and mother-in-law Donna.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or Filoli.
