Foothills Congregational Church has scheduled its annual rummage sale 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 461 Orange Ave., Los Altos.
According to sale organizers, “bargain hunters and thrift-store aficionados” can shop for “thousands of high-quality, gently used items.”
Sale items will include clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, housewares, furniture, linens, craft supplies and home decor items.
“We have many members who are reorganizing or downsizing and need to divest themselves of their beautiful collections of a lifetime,” said Jean Golden, church member. “We’re happy to contribute to our environmentally conscious community by helping to recycle excellent used merchandise and give others a chance to purchase needed goods.”
Organizers recommend shopping May 4 for “best selection” and May 5 for “best prices.”
