Foothill College women’s basketball coach Corey Cafferata won his 200th career game against Gavilan College Jan. 17, reaching a special milestone that reflects his many years of coaching.
“I feel good because it means I made a career of it,” Cafferata said of the win. “I’m about helping all my players and getting them scholarships.”
The former Mission College coach for 13 years is in his first season as head coach at Foothill after taking a break from coaching basketball for a year. Cafferata played at Jefferson High School, Sacramento City College and New College of California in San Francisco. He has a record of 201-162 in his career.
