First Street reopens in both directions

Here’s something you haven’t seen in a while: cars moving in both directions along the segment of First Street that Los Altos officials closed months ago for substantial renovations.

That’s right – First Street is open for foot and vehicle traffic in both directions. Construction crews re-opened the thoroughfare late Friday.
