Knox, Vega
Stephanie Sarah Knox and Charles Peter Vega Jr. have announced their engagement to be married July 7 in Boulder, Colo.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dr. John Knox and Barbara Knox of Boulder. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is employed as a CPA at Deloitte and Touche in Irvine.
The groom-to-be is the son of Charles and Patricia Vega of Los Altos. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He is assistant clinical professor of family medicine at the University of California, Irvine.
The couple plan to live in Tustin Ranch.
Woodhead, Leary
Courtney O’Brien Woodhead and Mark Adams Leary have announced their engagement to be married Sept. 1. The wedding and reception will be held at Lake Tahoe.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of former Los Altos residents David and Diana Woodhead, now living in Monterey. She graduated from St. Francis High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado.
The groom-to-be is the son of Margaret Leary of Sacramento and the late John Leary. He graduated from Jesuit High School in Sacramento and the University of Colorado.
The couple plan to live in San Francisco.
Olson, Vadis
Kari Olson and Tim Vadis have announced their engagement to be married Sept. 8. The wedding will be held at Nidaros Lutheran Church in Vining, Minn. The church was founded by her great-grandparents when they homesteaded from Norway.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of former Los Altos residents Chuck and Barbara Olson, now living in Scotts Valley and Vining. She is a student at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary at Berkeley.
The groom-to-be is the son of Jim and Anita Vadis of Bemidji, Minn. He is also a student at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary at Berkeley.
