Ecumenical Hunger Program (EHP) officials say they are “in great need” of toy and gift card donations for the many families the nonprofit serves. The East Palo Alto-based nonprofit estimates it is serving more than 400 families this year – more than twice the usual number. By contrast, EHP has fewer donations this year than in the past.
Los Altos and Los Altos Hills residents can drop off donations for EHP at Sereno Properties, 369 San Antonio Road, Los Altos. Donations can be dropped off 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:30 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Donations are being accepted through 5 p.m., Dec. 20.
