The 1997 Celebrate Los Altos Fall Festival will feature more than 80 classic cars of all makes and years. The Oct. 4-5 festival also will showcase cars built in 1947 to celebrate the year the Los Altos Town Crier was founded.
A special trophy by the Town Crier will be given to anyone who will show a 1947 Kaiser, Frazer, Studebaker, Hudson, De Soto, Crosley or Tucker. These near-extinct classics do not have to be restored and can be displayed as is. Prizes will be given for the near-extinct classic class.
Exhibitors may pick up an entry application from the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce and entries should be sent to Paul Averell, 1216 Eureka Court, Los Altos.
