Armadillo Willy’s barbecue restaurantwill host the sixth annual “Chefs Who Care Picnic in thePark” from 5:30-7:30 p.m. June 10 in the barbecue area ofCuesta Park on Cuesta Drive at Grant Road in Mountain View. Theevent benefits the Community Kitchen of Community Services Agency.
An outdoor gourmet dinner of oak and hickory smoked baby backribs and chicken, barbecue beans, homemade potato salad and coleslaw, cornbread muffins and iced tea.
Rick Rekoon, vocalist-acoustic guitarist, will entertain the diningarea with familiar folk music. The price of the event is $16.Fifty percent of the price will be donated directly to The CommunityKitchen, which serves free, nutritious evening meals four nightsa week to homeless and low-income individuals.
Reservations are required and may be made by calling 941-8649on or before Thursday, June 6. Armadillo Willy’s will not takereservations for this event.
