The Bus Barn Stage Company production of the romantic comedy “Almost, Maine” is slated to run through Dec. 18 in Los Altos.
John Cariani’s tale of love is set in the winter in the rustic town of Almost, Maine, on a cold and clear moonless night where all is not quite what it seems. Under the magical Northern Lights, the residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways as knees are bruised and hearts are broken. But the bruises heal and the hearts mend.
Directed by Bus Barn Artistic Director Barbara J. Cannon, the play features Kimberly Gelbwasser, Sean Gilvary, Steve Gold, Fred Pitts, Rebecca Maiten and Kelly Rinehart as residents of the town.
Shows are scheduled 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays; 7:30 p.m. Dec. 7 and 14; 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4 and 18; and 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Bus Barn Theater, 97 Hillview Ave., Los Altos. Tickets are $24-$32.
