The city of Mountain View announced on Tuesday a new deputy city manager.

Lindsay Hagan comes to the position with over 18 years of experience in local government, including serving as assistant community development director.

As deputy city manager, Hagan will be supporting labor relations, assisting in city council strategy and process, supporting downtown projects, aiding in revenue measure development and working alongside other departments to implement land, infrastructure and transportation plans.

“I am pleased to promote Lindsay to this dynamic new leadership role, given her experience working on high-profile projects for the City of Mountain View and professional advancement over the years,” said City Manager Kimbra McCarthy. “Lindsay has proven herself to be a relationship-builder, collaborator, and innovator inside and outside the organization.”

Hagan began her career with the city of Mountain View as a planning intern, and will enter her new role as deputy city manager on Oct. 12.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to expand my role with the City and the greater impact it will allow me to have on Mountain View’s future,” Hagan said. “I am especially excited to work on a range of projects that will have meaningful impacts on residents and businesses alike while helping advance the city organization’s continued success.”
