The sounds of world music and jazz are coming to the area this weekend, with concerts in Mountain View and Stanford.

• On Friday (March 6), enjoy the global sounds of Croatian vocalist Astrid Kuljanic with the Ben Rosenblum Trio from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at the Community School of Music and Arts’ Tateuchi Hall, 230 San Antonio Circle, Mountain View.

Drawing on her Adriatic heritage and her command of Brazilian music and jazz, Kuljanic will present a diverse evening of global music. With her band featuring accordionist Ben Rosenblum, bassist and bagpiper Mat Muntz and drummer and percussionist Ben Zweig, Kuljanic will sing traditional, popular and original songs.

The performance will feature a range of styles and languages propelled by a focus on spontaneous interaction and interpretive flexibility.

The concert is free, but attendees are advised to reserve tickets at tinyurl.com/CSMA-Kuljanic-Rosenblum.

• On Saturday (March 7) from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Stanford’s Dinkelspiel Auditorium, 471 Lagunita Drive, Stanford, the acclaimed Stanford Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble, directed by Murray Low, presents its winter concert, “Tribute to the Mambo.” The concert will feature special guest saxophonist/flautist Mitch Frohman, a seven-time Grammy winner. The program showcases both classic and original numbers, paying homage to classic New York salsa and Latin jazz repertoire during its golden era.

For tickets, $27 to $32, visit events.stanford.edu/event/salje-winter26.
