The MVLA Service League of Boys (SLOBs) is accepting new members through Sept. 30 for the 2026-2027 year. The parent-son organization, which has more than 450 members, connects local families with community service opportunities while supporting educational and charitable efforts.
Members can choose from a monthly list of volunteer opportunities, with activities ranging from helping animals and collecting food donations to assisting with community events. The organization partners with local nonprofits and other community groups to provide service opportunities.
SLOBs describes its mission as fostering community responsibility while strengthening relationships between parents and sons through volunteer work.
Enrollment is open to families interested in participating in the organization’s activities. More information about membership and registration is available on the SLOBs website at mvlaslobs.org.
