The Community School of Music and Arts is set to welcome live audiences back for the first concert of its Fall 2021 Community Concert Series 7:30 p.m. Saturday, with a performance by Peter and Will Anderson celebrating jazz legend Charlie Parker.

Identical twins, the Andersons are jazz woodwind players. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., the brothers moved to New York City to attend The Juilliard School.

They have performed with several orchestras and worked with Wynton Marsalis on the 2014 Grammy Award-winning soundtrack for HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire.” They have performed across the U.S. and in Brazil, Japan and the United Kingdom.

The Andersons will lead a free workshop 2 p.m. Sunday in CSMA’s Tateuchi Hall, during which they will discuss jazz history, jazz improvisation and careers in music.

CSMA has instituted additional safety measures for the Fall Community Concert Series to ensure the safety of audiences, staff and performers. Attendees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Prior to entering, concertgoers will be asked to provide proof of vaccination through a QR code generated by the Digital COVID-19 Vaccine Record website or an original physical vaccination card or photograph of it.

In addition, children under 12 are not permitted to attend Community Concerts at this time.

Regardless of vaccination status, audience members will be required to wear a mask over their nose and mouth at all times inside Tateuchi Hall.

CSMA is located at 230 San Antonio Circle, Mountain View.
