Los Altos area residents are invited to attend Villa Montalvo’s annual summer festival “Rock the Garden,” the theme of which this year is “5 Hour Sculpture: A Pop-Up Arts Festival.” The free event, scheduled 5-10 p.m. Friday (July 22) at the Saratoga arts center, involves more than 35 artists from the Bay Area and beyond. The event features participatory installations where visitors help create the artwork.
The festival also will feature hands-on art-making activities, dancing, live music and dining from gourmet food trucks.
Montalvo Arts Center is located at 15400 Montalvo Road. Free parking and shuttles are available from West Valley College’s Parking Lot 5. For more information, visit montalvoarts.org/5hour.
