Local effort gathers stuffed animals

The Los Altos Hills residents says that non-yogis who want to participate can man an assembly line preparing names and cards for each donated toy.

Acheson encourages interested participants to RSVP to 903-9996.

She said the stuffed animals should be unwrapped and that alternately, cash donations would help speed the gifts on their eastward journey. She said UPS is giving a discount to the project and the animals should arrive by Dec. 24.

Yoga of Los Altos is located at 377 1st St.
