Jennifer Chambliss and Justin Bertman were married Sept. 24. The ceremony and reception were held at Mission Ranch in Carmel.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Dianne Chambliss of Mountain View. She graduated from Mountain View High School and received a bachelor’s degree in English from UC Irvine and a master’s degree in creative writing from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga. She is employed at Front Range Community College as an English instructor and also works as a freelance editor and writer.
The groom is the son of Roger and Julie Bertman of Los Altos. He graduated from Mountain View High School and received bachelor’s degrees in math and in computer sciences from Colorado University, Boulder. He is employed at Webroot Software as the development manager of threat research.
The couple first met at Blach Intermediate School and live in Erie, Colo.
Michelle Reitmeir and Kent Stacy
Michelle Reitmeir and Kent Stacy have announced their engagement to be married June 3 in Santa Barbara.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late MaryAnne Reitmeir and Joseph and Darla Reitmeir of Los Altos. She is a graduate of St. Francis High School and San Jose State University.
The groom-to-be is the son of Kay Thompson of Saratoga and Ron Stacy of Murphys. He graduated from Monta Vista High School and is employed as an engineer in the auto racing industry.
The couple plan to live in Los Altos or Marin.
