Janice was born in Stamford, Connecticut on May 1, 1940, and moved to the west coast with her parents as a child. She graduated from Los Angeles High School and University of California at Santa Barbara, enjoying her time there immensely.
After college she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, where she raised her three daughters and began her many decades of volunteer work. She cared deeply about others and gave generously of her time and energy. All who knew her will miss her kind, thoughtful presence and beautiful smile. She is survived by her daughters, sons-in-law, and six grandsons, whom she adored.
For many years she had a dedicated and beloved team of caregivers who helped her manage life with Cerebellar Ataxia. We are forever grateful for their loving care of Janice. She passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 19, 2025.
