St. Francis High graduate Junior Fehoko is headed to the NFL.
The San Jose State defensive lineman was chosen by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round (No. 129 overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft April 29.
When the Town Crier interviewed Fehoko after his breakout 2020 season with the Spartans, he said making the NFL has “always been a dream of mine.”
Fehoko won’t be the first member of his family to make the league. He is related to nose tackle Vita Vea, who won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021.
As a redshirt junior last season, Fehoko was named the Mountain West Conference Defensive Player of the Year. The East Palo Alto native registered nine sacks and 65 tackles, both career highs, and led the conference in tackles for loss with 18.5.
