Mountain View High School’s MV Cares program seeks volunteers to coordinate the assembly of holiday gift baskets for school families in need.
A Zoom session is scheduled 6-7 p.m. today for students, families or school departments, classes, clubs or teams willing to serve as “basket leads.”
MV Cares will provide the name of a family, and volunteers will create an Amazon Gift List, recruit friends to contribute to the basket, collect and gift wrap items and deliver the basket to the family’s home or other designated location.
Since the program’s inception, MV Cares has given baskets to more than 100 families.
