Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD), in collaboration with the San Jose Sharks, is offering limited-edition library cards.
Through the month of September, these cards will be available to everyone who signs up for a library card at any Santa Clara County public library. The cards feature two unique “Turn it teal” designs, inspired by the San Jose Sharks.
“The San Jose Sharks are a beloved local franchise, and we are excited to partner with them to promote the value of a library account,” said County Librarian Jennifer Weeks. “Everyone should have a library card and now they have the perfect opportunity to be one of the first to get a limited-edition San Jose Sharks card.”
Library cards allow holders full access to all SCCLD online and physical media, including books, videos, audiobooks, eBooks and more.
These new, limited-edition library cards are available beginning Sept. 1. On Sept. 8, SCCLD will hold a celebratory storytime at Cupertino Library featuring special guest readers from the San Jose Sharks.
This event is part of the “Sharks around the Bay” tour, which brings players across the Bay Area to engage with fans.
