The Main Street Singers choral group of Los Altos High School is scheduled to perform a farewell concert 7:30 p.m. this Sunday before heading out on a European tour.
The concert, featuring works by Handel, Debussy, Schumann and others, is scheduled to be held at the First United Methodist Church, 625 Hamilton Ave., in Palo Alto.
As per the group’s reputation for international travel, the group will be performing in Russia and the Baltics for much of the month of April. This is the 29th year of the group, under the direction of Mark Schaull.
