At approximately noon, a man in his 80s was walking down Los Altos Avenue when several suspects confronted him, Shearer said. One suspect threatened to use his handgun on the victim, while another took the man’s wallet. Shearer said the suspects then fled toward downtown Los Altos in a dark-colored car.
