Los Altos police have issued a traffic advisory for San Antonio Road in Los Altos. One southbound lane of San Antonio between Portola Avenue and Pine Lane is scheduled for closure through 3 p.m. today. Police said the lane closure is required in order for Cal Water Co. to repair a water leak at a nearby residence. Both the bike lane and outer-most lane of traffic are scheduled for closure while repairs are in progress.
Due to the close proximity to Egan Intermediate and Bullis Charter schools, work will only be allowed outside of the peak school traffic hours in order to minimize impact to drivers. Those driving into the downtown area around lunchtime may experience some traffic delays, police said.
