Commuters are advised to avoid Third Street between Whitney Avenue and Main Street during the hours of 9 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday and 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday due to a utility construction project. Drivers on Third Street should be prepared for periodic road closures as well as excess noise during construction hours.
